Smitty's Grill

Smitty's Grills in Pasadena was the choice of our lunch on a December afternoon.

The restaurant has a tasteful interior, it is however not a place where one takes children unless your children are easy eaters. Our friend's daughter did not find anything she liked, so she may have been a very picky eater...

For the rest of the friends this was a pleasant experience for the taste buds.

The service is good, not pushy but yet very attentive.

We started with cocktails and were pleasantly surprised with the big bowl of home made crisps. Very yummie.

I have to make a point however.. in a restaurant with the prices Smitty's Grill charges a bowl of crisps should be for free and not something clients will be surprised with. It may not be a lot of money, but it was a bit of an after-taste for us after paying a bill of hundreds of dollars.

I ordered a Caipirinha.

My advice to the bartender is to speak to a Brazilian bartender and learn how to make a proper one. This one was absolutely not up to standard.

My friends were happy with their drinks, so no comments there.

The food was excellent.

A nice place for lunch and I am sure dinner will not be disappointing.

Don't charge for the crisps and I will definitely be back !
